HI-8190 / HI-8191 / HI-8192

The HI-8190/HI-8191/HI-8192 are quad single-pole/single-throw (SPST) analog switches. The HI-8190 has four normally open (NO) switches, the HI-8191 has four normally closed (NC) switches and the HI-8192 has two NO and two NC switches, operating with a 4ns break-before-make time delay. The devices are fabricated on a robust silicon-on-insulator (SOI) technology for latch-up free operation and maximum isolation, with off-state leakage in the 1nA range. This makes these devices ideal for applications that benefit from or require low charge injection, high isolation or low leakage, such as sample and hold and other precision multiplexers.

 

Switch operating range is +/-3V to +/-15V and is controlled by 3.3V or 5.0V logic. Typical RON ranges from 12 to 15 Ohm, depending on the logic supply, making these devices ideal for line driver isolation in a multi-drop ARINC 429 avionics bus. The devices are available in industrial -40oC to +85oC and extended -55oC to +125oC temperature ranges and come in 16 pin SOIC and 5mm x 5mm 16-pin QFN packages.
