Quality Systems Lead

 Position Summary:

Holt Integrated Circuits, a leading supplier of high-reliability semiconductor solutions for the aerospace industry, is seeking to fill a newly created Quality Systems Lead role to support and improve its AS9100-certified Quality Management System (QMS).

Reporting to the Director of Quality, this hands-on role is responsible for QMS compliance, audit management, process improvement, and quality system maintenance. The Quality Systems Lead ensures compliance with AS9100D, ISO 9001, customer, and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement and audit readiness.

This individual contributor role has no direct reports and works closely with the Quality Group Lead, Quality team, and cross-functional stakeholders to support quality objectives and organizational compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead internal audits and support external certification, customer, and regulatory audits.
• Maintain compliance with AS9100, customer requirements, and applicable quality standards.
• Manage CAPA activities, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and effectiveness verification.
• Analyze quality data and trends to drive continuous improvement and prevent recurring issues.
• Maintain QMS documentation, records, document control, and configuration management processes.
• Support customer quality inquiries, audits, and corrective action responses.
• Deliver AS9100 and quality system training and promote quality awareness throughout the organization.
• Foster a culture of compliance, risk-based thinking, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor quality metrics and report QMS performance to leadership.
• Support supplier quality activities and outsourced manufacturing partners.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of quality systems experience in aerospace, semiconductor, electronics, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Working knowledge of AS9100D and ISO 9001.
• Experience with audits, CAPA, and quality system compliance.
• ERP system experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

 Preferred:

• Aerospace, avionics, or semiconductor manufacturing experience.
• AS9100 Lead Auditor, CQA, CQE, or related certification.
• Experience with supplier quality and continuous improvement.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.

Salary: depending on experience
