This board allows the customer to evaluate the features of the HI-8598 differential ARINC 429 Line Driver IC. It is designed to provide up to +/- 800V galvanic isolation between the line driver and the logic interface. Internal circuitry protects the logic interface with built-in 4kV ESD protection (HBM).
The HI-8598 is powered from two 3.3V power supplies, one for the logic side and one for the line driver side.Test signals can be applied and monitored using the test points.
