HI-6141

The HI-6141 combines the protocol engines of Holt’s HI-6130 MIL-STD-1553 and HI-6140 MMSI / EBR-1553 terminals to provide a single-chip solution offering a pin-selectable 1 Mbps or 10 Mbps bus interface.

The HI-6141 offers a single part number solution for customers requiring both standard 1 Mbps MIL-STD-1553 and 10Mbps data rates, such as in Miniature Munitions Stores Interface (MMSI) or EBR-1553 applications.

The part is available in Industrial -40oC to +85oC, or Extended -55oC to +125oC temperature ranges. Optional burn-in is available on the extended temperature range.

  • Independent time-tag counters for all terminals with 32-bit option for Bus Controller and 48-bit option for Monitor Terminal
  • 64-Word Interrupt Log Buffer queues the most recent 32 interrupts. Hardware-assisted interrupt decoding quickly identifies interrupt sources
  • Built-in self-test for protocol logic, digital signal paths and internal RAM
  • Optional self-initialization at reset uses external serial EEPROM
  • Two temperature ranges: -40oC to +85oC, or -55oC to +125oC with optional burn-in on higher temperature range
