Octal ARINC 429 Line Receiver Family with Built-In DO-160G Level 3 Lightning Protection -Thursday, January 28, 2016
Holt Integrated Circuits introduced today a new Octal ARINC 429 line receiver family with fully integrated lightning protection circuitry. The built-in circuitry ensures compliance with RTCA/DO-160G, Section 22 Level 3 Pin Injection Test Waveform Set A (3 & 4), Set B (3 & 5A) and Set Z (3 & 5B), enabling direct connection to the ARINC 429 bus without external components. The HI-8456 and HI-8457 are exact drop-in replacements for DEI1046 and DEI1047 respectively. The HI-8458 is pin-to-pin compatible with Holt’s popular HI-8448 and is also a drop-in replacement for the DEI1148.
First MIL-STD-1553 Dual Transceiver with Bus Tail-Off Compensation -Wednesday, December 16, 2015
Holt Integrated Circuits today announced the introduction of HI-1585, the first MIL-STD-1553 dual transceiver with tail-off compensation. MIL-STD-1553 bus tail-off or offset is a transmitter-induced phenomenon caused by imbalance in the transmit signal path. It causes a temporary DC offset on the terminal’s bus stub which can temporarily impair the terminal’s ability to decode received commands following transmission of long messages.
Drop-In Replacement for DDC MIL-STD-1553 Transceiver BU-67401L -Tuesday, December 8, 2015
Holt Integrated Circuits today announced the introduction of HI-1584, a pin-compatible, “form, fit and function” drop-in replacement for the Data Device Corporation MIL-STD-1553 transceiver, BU-67401L0C0x-102. The new device is a dual-channel transceiver which may be paired with Holt MIL-STD-1553 isolation transformers, for example PM-DB2779.
Ametek Recognizes Holt with On-Time-Delivery Award -Wednesday, October 21, 2015
Holt Integrated Circuits today announced it received an award from Ametek Aerospace and Defense, Power and Data Systems Division, for exceptional on-time-delivery (OTD) performance. The award recognizes Holt’s 100% on-time-delivery achievement for four straight quarters.
Validation of MAMBA: World’s Smallest MIL-STD-1553 IC Solutions -Friday, August 28, 2015
Holt Integrated Circuits today announced formal MIL-STD-1553 RT validation of MAMBA, the world’s smallest family of MIL-STD-1553 / MIL-STD-1760 multi-terminal devices. Validation was performed at Test Systems, Inc., an independent Air Force approved testing service for MIL-STD-1553 remote terminals. A validation report is available on request.
